UC-II® & EXERCISE-RELATED JOINT RESEARCH
40 LABRADOR RETRIEVERS • PLACEBO-CONTROLLED • 13 WEEKS
Healthy adult dogs received 40 mg of UC-II® ingredient or placebo daily, including a two-week supplementation period followed by an eleven-week exercise programme.
Researchers observed greater average moving speed and lower levels of selected inflammatory and cartilage-turnover biomarkers in supplemented dogs at specific assessments.
Relevant ingredient research in active adult dogs. Biomarker changes do not demonstrate cartilage regrowth or prove that MOBILIS prevents joint disease.

ORAL HYALURONIC ACID & JOINT-FLUID BIOMARKERS
55 DOGS • RANDOMISED, DOUBLE-BLIND, PLACEBO-CONTROLLED • 10 WEEKS
Dogs recovering from surgery for cranial cruciate ligament injury received oral hyaluronic acid or placebo.
The supplemented group showed changes from baseline in selected joint-fluid biomarkers, including increased hyaluronic acid concentration. Both groups improved clinically following surgery.
This study contributes to the evidence on oral hyaluronic acid, but does not establish superior pain relief or mobility outcomes for MOBILIS.

45 DOGS COMPLETED • RANDOMISED, DOUBLE-BLIND, PLACEBO- AND POSITIVE-CONTROLLED • 8 WEEKS
Dogs with osteoarthritis received a stabilised green-lipped mussel preparation, carprofen or placebo.
The mussel preparation produced greater improvement than placebo in veterinary-assessed mobility and owner-assessed pain scores. However, improvements in the objective force-plate measurements were not statistically significant versus placebo.
